'reshaping labour' BOOKLET
Reshaping labour: intersectional insights about work, labour, and the job market.
How do you build a community from scratch?
What does intersectional justice look like in practice?
How can we create new structures when we are still dependent on the old systems?
How much do we reproduce these systems ourselves?
‚Reshaping Labour: Intersectional Insights about Work, Labour, and the Job Market‘ captures the essence of our work at BIWOC* Rising over the past five years. Born from the need to create spaces where intersectionality is truly lived, this booklet highlights the forms of discrimination we face in the workplace and labor market. It’s a tool for empowerment, offering personal stories, critical reflections, and lessons learned along the way. This is not just about theory—it’s about creating practical, lasting change for BIW*oC and TIN*BIPoC (Black/Indigenous/people of colour who are women/Trans*/Inter/non-binary) communities. A resource for us, by us, and for our allies.
The booklet is also available as a free print edition—reach out to us to request a copy.
