Community Picnic

Join BIWOC* Rising, Project TRES, and Yes We Bleed for a community potluck picnic in Neukölln.

We’ve joined forces because our work is rooted in many of the same values, goals, and communities. This picnic is a chance to meet one another, share food, exchange stories, and simply spend an afternoon together.

We’ll also be hosting a Human Library, where you’ll get to meet the people behind Project TRES, Yes We Bleed, and BIWOC* Rising, and hear more about the work, experiences, and communities that shape what we do.

This is a potluck, so bring something to eat or drink to share if you can, and don’t forget a blanket.

Our new project EquiNet calls for more justice by empowering entrepreneurs from marginalized communities, helping businesses to turn diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) into action.

INTERSECTIONAL WORK & SOCIAL CLUB

BIWOC* Rising is the first intersectional work & social club in Berlin and Germany. This safer space is exclusively for women, trans, inter and non-binary people who identify as Black, indigenous or of Colour! Through training programs, empowerment workshops, and a work-desk in the heart of Berlin-Kreuzberg, BIWOC* Rising is creating a new working culture – a working culture that transcends the white, homogenous, capitalist one that has been a core driver of gentrification and marginalization in Berlin.
