“What do you mean by that?”

For Diversity Day in Germany, we’re launching Power in Practice: A Glossary for Equitable Entrepreneurship.

Language is power. It shapes realities and it is not neutral. For BIPOC entrepreneurs, creatives, and folks in general, naming our experiences is an act of resistance. Naming the systems that shape our realities is a strategy. Naming our visions for justice, belonging, and collective power is a clear declaration: we will not build our futures within structures that were never designed for us.

That’s why we created this free 30-card toolkit.

It explores language, power, identity, and leadership in entrepreneurship through clear definitions, self-reflection prompts, and community questions.

Download it, print it, and bring it into your workplace, organization, workshops, or community spaces 🎴

INTERSECTIONAL WORK & SOCIAL CLUB

BIWOC* Rising is the first intersectional work & social club in Berlin and Germany. This safer space is exclusively for women, trans, inter and non-binary people who identify as Black, indigenous or of Colour! Through training programs, empowerment workshops, and a work-desk in the heart of Berlin-Kreuzberg, BIWOC* Rising is creating a new working culture – a working culture that transcends the white, homogenous, capitalist one that has been a core driver of gentrification and marginalization in Berlin.
