FUN FUN FUN!

Nach einem zweitägigen Dreh, ist unser Campaign-Video nun fertig. Die Dreharbeiten waren geprägt von Ideen, Einsatz und Professsionalität, die das Ergebnis von gegenseitigem Empowerment und Expertise innerhalb der Community sind.

An zwei separaten Tagen haben wir uns mit verschiedenen BIWOC*s getroffen und so viel Content wie möglich gedreht. Mit nur einer Ausnahme hatte keine von den Anwesenden schauspielerische Erfahrung. Trotzdem kann sich das Resultat sehen lassen!

Dabei blieb das Netzwerken auch nicht auf der Strecke. Alle haben die Drehtage mit mindestens einer neuen Bekanntschaft verlassen. Die Atmosphäre während der Dreharbeiten hat repräsentiert wofür BIWOC* Rising steht – Safe Space, community, empowerment, network. Alle in dem Video auftretenden Frauen* haben uns ihre Zeit und Kraft geschenkt und ohne sie gebe es keine Kampagne. Unsere Videoproduzentinnen Mizu Zugai und Thais Veiga hatten mit ihren Skills und Kreativität alles im Griff und wir konnten hinter der Kamera noch etwas dazu lernen. Rhea Ramjohn war als erfahrene Podcasterin unsere Sounddesignerin. Anis Ari war als Set Runnerin Teil der Crew und sprang zusätzlich spontan vor die Kamera. Loubna Messaoudi führte Regie und musste ausnahmsweise auch vor die Linse.

FUN FUN FUN !
After two days of filming, our campaign video is done! The making of the video was influenced by ideas, dedications and professionalism that are the result of mutual empowerment and expertise within the community.
On two different days we met up with different BIWOC*s and filmed as much content as we could. With the exception of one person, nobody present had any acting experience. However, the outcome is still amazing!

During the process the network was not any less of value. Everyone left the filmset with at least one new acquaintance. The atmosphere during the filming represents what BIWOC* Rising stands for – Safe Space, community, empowerment, network. All of the woman* appearing in the video gifted us their time and energy and without them, there would be no campaign. With their skills and creativity, our video makers Mizu Zugai and Thais Veiga were in full control and we could certainly learn a thing or two from them. Rhea Ramjohn, as an experienced podcaster, was our sound designer. Anis Ari was active as our set runner and from time to time, was also seen in front of the camera. The film was directed by Loubna Messaoudi but for a change, she can also be seen in front of the camera.
