The federal program „Demokratie leben!“ of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ) promotes civil society engagement to democracy, diversity and against extremism at the municipal, regional and national level. Our BIWOC* Impact project has been funded as a model project in the „Diversity – Racism“ field of action since summer 2021.

SEND e.V. is the German network for social entrepreneurship. Thanks to funding from Google.org, they were able to distribute a subsidy amount of 1 million euro to organisations in the social entrepreneur sector with focus on breaking down barriers for marginalized groups with regards to founding. Since 2023, they are funding our new project Brave Spaces 2.0

filia.die Frauenstiftung supports projects by and for women and girls that aim for structural change. Her motto is „Change, not Charity“. That is why filia primarily supports programs and initiatives that promote freedom from violence, demand social participation and strengthen democratic structures. In 2021 filia.die Frauenstiftung funded our TIN*BIWoC Mentoring program. Since 2024, they are funding our project BIWOC* Impact.

The Alliance for gender equality in Europe (the Alliance) is a donors collaborative created in 2021 to support progress for gender equality and women’s rights in Europe. Through grants, capacity strengthening and awareness raising, the Alliance strengthens small frontline organisations supporting especially women, girls, boys, men, and those who identify as LGBTQIA+ living in vulnerable situations. Since 2024 the Alliance has been supporting BIWOC* Rising with core funding.

Stiftung Pfefferwerk is dedicated to opening new perspectives for young people, promoting diversity, and sustainably strengthening community and social cohesion. Their focus is on improving the opportunities for disadvantaged individuals to enter the workforce. Since 2024, they are funding our project BIWOC* Impact.

Manhattan, originally called ‚Manhatten‘, has stood for cosmetics for more than 50 years. We are happy to report that we have been official partners since January 2022. The sponsorship here goes far beyond financial support: mentoring, coaching, funding, events – the aim is to join forces for the common vision of protecting tomorrow’s diversity, in which beauty finds its origin.

einhorn stands for sustainability and made it their mission to revolutionize the condom and period product industry. By selling their period products in 2022, einhorn can distribute 78,000 euros to feminist NGOs and initiatives this year. We are one of the lucky 5 initiatives that were chosen to get a piece of the cake of einhorn’s Feminist Funding. 

PREVIOUS FUNDING.

The mabb supports media competence projects for the citizens of Berlin and Brandenburg. Media competence is understood as the perception, use, action and design competence in relation to media and in a world determined by media. In 2022 mabb funded our media competence workshops and podcasts for the project BIWOC* Impact.

On the occasion of the company’s 100th anniversary in 2016, BMW AG expanded its social commitment with the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt with the aim of having a greater global impact. Since 2020, our founder Loubna Messaoudi has been part of the Responsible Leadership Program, which connects us to a large network. To our delight, the BMW Foundation supported us financially in 2022. 

The House of Resources Berlin is a project of the German Academy for Volunteerism in cooperation with interkular gGmbH. From 2019 to 2022 it will be implemented in a second project period together with AgitPolska e.V., Inssan e.V. and the Association of German-Syrian Aid Associations e.V. HoR supports projects that support migrants and the migrant diaspora and stand up against discrimination.

The bpb supports political education projects in various ways. The focus of the work of the „Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung“ is the promotion of awareness of democracy and political participation. 2022-2024 our project BIWOC* Impact was co-funded by bpb.
