Sonia Khawaja // Mentor for BIPOC. Business Owner. Yoga Teacher.
I am very passionate about my work. I support BIPoC women finding their way back to their authentic selves. My family immigrated to Germany in 1990, one year before I was born. Due to political issues in Pakistan, my parents were more or less forced to leave their home. As the only one born and raised in Germany, I remember struggling with living in between two cultures. I saw injustice each and every day and dreamed of changing the world one day, so every person, not depending on their heritage could live freely.
After spending some time abroad, I figured out that I wanted to stick to my purpose. I realised that my goal is supporting people feeling emotionally free. By finding my own truth, I understood that this is the first step to freedom and towards ending injustice. Your own emotional freedom is the first step into a chainless life basically. And how can you get there? By exploring your inner world.
It’s tough, it’s not easy but I have created a way to find ease in it. One of the most beautiful feedbacks I get from my clients is that I’ve created a space for them to explore their inner world with a smile on their faces – I would call myself a funny person so I love that my personality helps them to feel at ease while doing deep identity work. Very thankful, glad and happy to be able to own this business and support BIPoC women to create a life they always dreamed of.
